Cleaner Vetting

We advertise for cleaners in Local Newspapers, the internet and also word of mouth usually referrals from current cleaners.

About 50 cleaners approximately ring us each week to join the agency for work but after thorough screening we only invite about 50% to interview as the remainder for one reason or another do not suit our (and therefore your) requirements.

Those invited to interview are asked to provide proof of ID, two passport photographs of themselves, two written references, two proofs of their home address and a document with their National Insurance number which they are to bring to the interview.

Out of the 25 that we invite to interview, only about 7 would attend. Those that do not attend proving their unreliability we do not bother calling back.

Those that do attend the interview are thoroughly vetted. We check their documents to ensure they
are suitable before we interview them. Then they have to complete an application form (which also
tests their understanding of the English written word).

We then have a one to one interview with them to find out about themselves, their background and their aims. Then they are put through a training session.

After all this only 4 or 5 would start.

So from 50 people ringing us for cleaning work only about 4 or 5 would start. So what we are doing is filtering out and eliminating all unsuitable applicants so that you can be reasonably sure of obtaining a suitable, honest and reliable cleaner.
